A Few Words About Expert
Dr Phil Porter
Deputy Dean for International and Education, PhD in Earth Sciences and Geoscience Education, University of Hertfordshire

Responsible for the exemplary educational experience of all students in the School of Life and Medical Sciences, helping them achieve their best and realize their potential. He is also the Acting Vice Dean for International Affairs, responsible for the international image and activities of the School. He manages the school's academic support department and is responsible for the school's performance in the National Student Survey (NSS).

Mark Holloway
Director of the Global Academic Skills Development Centre at the University of Hertfordshire

Has over 20 years of experience teaching English in Russell Group institutions. He was the convener of the International Foundation Programme in Humanities and Social Sciences at Queen Mary University of London. He worked at the International College of the University of Essex, where he developed and operated a range of EAP and academic writing courses.

Program Overview

The Hertfordshire University Summer Camp will open a journey for you to explore British culture and visit prestigious schools. At Hertfordshire University, known as the "cradle of entrepreneurs," you will have the opportunity to learn and discuss cutting-edge social issues with an international faculty team rich in industry experience, thereby further enhancing your English proficiency.

The Harry Potter Film Art Museum at Hertfordshire University and the 9¾ platform at King's Cross Station in London offer an immersive experience into world-class film production platforms and an exploration of the significant role of creative economy in social development.

All essential materials and equipment are provided, however, we encourage students to bring an A3 portfolio folder (including a minimum of 5 plastic sleeves) and a USB drive.
